- 1 tablespoon Ghee or melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 390 F (200 C).
- Prepare the bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them lengthwise. Cut each banana into two.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar: In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Brush with ghee: Using a pastry brush, coat each banana slice with ghee or melted butter.
- Arrange in air fryer: Place a sheet of foil in the air fryer basket and transfer the banana slices onto it.
- Add cinnamon sugar: Sprinkle the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture over the banana slices.
- Air fry: Air fry at 390 F (200 C) for 7 minutes. No need to flip them during cooking. Adjust for additional time if using under-ripe bananas for caramelization.
Notes
- Depending on the ripeness of the bananas, the texture and sweetness of the final dish will vary.
- Use overripe bananas for softer, sweeter results and just-ripe bananas for firmer, slightly crisp results.
