Instructions
- Create Bread Indent: Using a glass or Mason jar, press down on the bread slices to create a well-defined indent, making sure it’s deep enough to hold the egg.
- Prep Air Fryer: Lightly grease the air fryer basket to prevent sticking. Position the indented bread slices inside, ensuring they lay flat.
- Add Eggs: Gently crack an egg into the indent of each bread slice, making sure the yolk stays intact.
- Season and Cook: Evenly sprinkle salt and pepper over each egg-topped bread slice. Set the air fryer to 340ºF and cook for 8-10 minutes. Monitor closely to achieve your desired yolk consistency, adjusting the time as needed.
Notes
- For a runny yolk, aim closer to the 8-minute mark for the cooking time. If you prefer your yolk firmer, lean towards the 10-minute range or go an extra minute at a time.
- Press the middle of the bread uniformly with the glass to ensure the egg stays nestled in the bread and cooks evenly in the air fryer.
