  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Slice the Jalapenos: Slice the jalapeno peppers into ¼-inch round slices.
  2. Prepare the Syrup: In a pan, combine sugar, vinegar, and seasonings. Bring to a boil, then simmer until sugar dissolves into a syrup.
  3. Candy the Peppers: Add jalapeno slices to the syrup, simmer for 4 minutes until slightly cooked and coated.
