This Cherry Pie Dirty Soda is a refreshing and fun twist on a classic soda, combining the rich flavors of fresh cherries, Dr. Pepper, and a creamy vanilla foam. Perfect for a sweet treat or party drink, it blends fruity, creamy, and fizzy elements into one delightful beverage.

Cherries

  • 2/3 cup whole cherries, seeds removed, fresh or frozen/thawed

Beverage

  • 2 - 7.5 ounce cans Dr. Pepper
  • 1/2 cup vanilla creamer (Chobani brand or similar)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cherries: Mince the cherries until they are small enough to easily fit through a straw. You should have a few spoonfuls of cherry juice that are released from chopping the cherries; set this juice aside.
  2. Make cherry vanilla cold foam: Use a frother or a smoothie blender to combine the vanilla creamer with the preserved cherry juice. Froth until the mixture becomes thick and creamy but is still pourable.
  3. Assemble the drink: Fill the bottom of each glass with 4 tablespoons of the minced cherries. Add ice cubes until each glass is about two-thirds full.
  4. Add soda and foam: Pour in the Dr. Pepper carefully, leaving about 2 inches of space at the top of each glass. Gently add the cherry vanilla cold foam on top. Stir carefully to mix, avoiding vigorous agitation to prevent the soda from overflowing due to carbonation.

Notes

  • For a lower-calorie option, use cherry vanilla creamer such as Ollipop.
  • Diet Dr. Pepper can be substituted for a lower-sugar soda option.
