Description

A refreshing and creamy Greek Yogurt Jello dessert made with strawberry gelatin and rich Greek yogurt, perfect for a light and flavorful treat that’s easy to prepare and can be garnished with whipped cream and fresh berries.

Ingredients

Scale

Gelatin Mixture

  • 1 box (6 oz) strawberry Jello gelatin (or your favorite flavor)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water

Yogurt

  • 2 cups Greek Yogurt (whole milk preferred, vanilla or plain)

Optional Garnishes

  • Whipped cream or Cool Whip whipped topping
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Dissolve Gelatin: In a large bowl, add the gelatin powder and pour in the boiling water. Stir continuously until the gelatin is fully dissolved, approximately two minutes.
  2. Mix Yogurt: Whisk in the Greek yogurt until the mixture is smooth and well combined, ensuring no lumps remain.
  3. Add Cold Water: Pour in the cold water and give the mixture a gentle stir to blend everything evenly.
  4. Chill: Transfer the mixture to 8 individual serving dishes (around 6 oz each) or a single medium serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate until fully set, which takes approximately 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Before serving, top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries or your choice of garnish. Enjoy chilled.
  6. Storage: Cover and refrigerate any leftovers. They will keep well for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • You may use two 3 oz boxes of Jello instead of one 6 oz box, or substitute with sugar-free Jello if preferred.
  • Whole milk Greek yogurt provides the creamiest texture, but plain or non-fat Greek yogurt can be substituted based on dietary preferences.
  • Additional garnish options include sprinkles, chopped nuts, or fresh mint for added flavor and presentation.
