- Sauté Vegetables: In the same pot, add butter, onion, and celery. Sauté for 4-5 minutes.
- Add Aromatics and Flour: Stir in garlic and flour. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Prepare Broth: Slowly whisk in chicken broth until smooth.
- Finish the Soup: Add half-and-half, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, potatoes, and sausage. Simmer for 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
