For the Mascarpone Filling:

- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
For the Strawberry Jam Mixture:
- 1/3 cup strawberry jam
- 1/4 cup water (or prosecco)
- 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar (or lemon juice)
Additional Ingredients:
- 2 cups sliced strawberries (1 pint)
- 24 ladyfingers
Instructions
- Prepare the Mascarpone Filling: In a medium bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until smooth and thickened.
- Assemble the Tiramisu: In a small bowl, combine strawberry jam, water, and balsamic vinegar. Dip the ladyfingers in the mixture and line them in a single layer in a baking dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and layer with half of the sliced strawberries. Repeat with remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone, and strawberries.
- Chill: Cover the tiramisu with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Notes
- You can customize the sweetness by adjusting the amount of confectioners’ sugar used.
- For a boozy version, substitute water with prosecco in the strawberry jam mixture.
